Voewood is an exceptional venue, a deservedly award winning venue, there is nothing quite like it in the rest of the county. Many venues claim to be unique, Voewood truly is and it's an absolute gem of a place to photograph a wedding. There are so many nooks and crannies to explore and even though I have been there many times over the years, I don't think I would ever get bored of the place! It's a venue that always lends itself to very laid back couples who just want to have a great big party to celebrate their wedding day, just how it should be!

I started the day with Millie and her bridesmaids who were already in high spirits when I arrived. But with Nick also getting ready there, I was able to spend my time moving between the rooms of the house, capturing frames from both the brides and the grooms' preparations.

Nick looked very dashing and Millie absolutely wowed in her bespoke Emma Beaumont dress and gold Jimmy Choo's. Without a doubt one of the most beautiful dresses I have seen.

An outdoor wedding, their ceremony took place under canopy, which was a good idea; there were showers, here and there. The rain came and went though and after the ceremony guests enjoyed drinks on the lawn accompanied by music from Sugar.

Millie and Nick had a large number of guests to entertain and a marquee, looking across the gardens to the house, provided the space and backdrop for their wedding breakfast.

The dining experience was, as to be expected, incredible; the wedding catering provided by Florentina.

The venue and marquee, meanwhile, were styled by the lovely Penny from the Little Lending Company who, it is always a pleasure to bump into and who was on hand that day, putting finishing touches to the decor. It looked amazing.
